Who controls your information
The fleet company that gives you access to Fleetbee is the controller of your employment, vehicle and job information. Fleetbee provides the software used by that company. Privacy questions or requests should first be sent to your fleet company or account administrator.
Information the app uses
- Account details, including your name, email address, user identifier and sign-in information.
- Driver and work details supplied by you or your fleet company, such as telephone number, address, assignments, call times, locations, contacts and job documents.
- Vehicle and report information, including registration, mileage, timings, checks, defects, accidents, notes, charges, generator or inverter use and submitted reports.
- Photos and documents that you choose to add to a defect, accident, check or report.
- Device and notification identifiers needed to keep you signed in and deliver job updates.
- Precise location, speed, direction and route points while you have started an active job day and GPS tracking is enabled.
Why location is used
During an active job, location information can create the journey route and mileage, show the fleet office the vehicle's latest working location, support arrival reminders, identify relevant road-charging zones and calculate driving events. Background location lets this continue when the screen is locked or another app is open. Fleetbee does not use location information for advertising.
How information is used
Information is used to provide assigned work, operate the driver workflow, keep company records accurate, create driver reports and invoices where enabled, improve safety information, prevent misuse, provide support and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
Sharing and storage
Your information is visible to authorised members of the fleet company responsible for the job. Fleetbee uses trusted service providers for secure account authentication, database and file storage, notifications, mapping and essential email delivery. Information is not sold and is not shared for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Retention and your choices
Records are retained for as long as the fleet company needs them for operations, safety, accounting or legal obligations. You can turn off location permission in iPhone Settings, although live journey features will then stop working. You may ask your fleet company administrator to correct, export or delete information, subject to any records it must legally retain.
Security and changes
Fleetbee uses authenticated access, encrypted network connections and company-based permissions. No online service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated when the service changes; the date below identifies the latest version.
